තම සිඟිති දියණියගේ ඩිරාම් 650000 (රුපියල් 23657032) රෝහල් බිල ගෙවා ගත නොහැකිව එක්සත් අරාබි එමීර් රාජ්‍යයේ සේවය කරන ශ්‍රී ලාංකික මව්පියෝ දහ අතේ කල්පනා කරති.

සමීර ගාල්ලගේ හා ඉමේෂා මාධවී මේ බබාගේ මව්පියෝ ය. ඔවුහු අරාබියේ වසර තුනක් රැකියාව කළහ. ප්‍රශූතිය සඳහා අම රට යෑමට සිටිය දී මාධවීට උණ හෙම්බිරිස්සාව වැළැඳී මවගේත් දරුවාගේත් ජීවිතය බේරා ගැනීම සඳහා කළ හැකි එකම දෙය වූයේ සීස සැත්කමකින් දරුවා බිහි කිරීම බව වෛද්‍යවරු තීරණය කළහ.

ඒ වන විට කළලයට සති 26ක් ගතවූවා පමණි.

ප්‍රසූතියෙන් පසු මාධවී පෞද්ගලික රෝහලටක ඇතුළු කැරිණි. දරුවාට (රිසන්දි)  එහි පහසුකම් නොවූයෙන් වෙනත් රෝහලටක මාරු කැරීමට සිදු විය.

දින 85ක්ම ඇය එම රෝහලේ සිටින්නීය. මාධවීගේ බිල රක්ෂණයෙන් ගෙව්වත් දරුවාගේ බිලට රක්ෂණ හිමිකම් නැත.

ගාල්ලගේ ගුවන් තොටුපොළේ ගුවන් යානා මෙහෙයුම් සේවකයෙකි.

දරුවා තවමත් ජීවත් වන්නේ ඔක්සිජන් සහායෙනි. තවත් දෙසතියකින් පමණ ඔක්සිජන් යන්ත්‍රයෙන් ඉවත් කළ හැකි වෙතියි ඔහු බලාපොරොත්තු වේ.

ඉහළ නැඟ ඇති රෝහල් බිල ගෙවීම මේ දෙදෙනාට ප්‍රශ්නයකි.

ගාල්ලගේගේ වැටුප ඩිරාම් 5025කි (රුපියල් 190000). ඔහුගේ මිතුරෝ දරුවාගේ බිලෙන් ඩිරාම් 55000ක් (රුපියල් 1998604.50 )ගෙවීමට උතව් කළහ.

බිල ගෙවීමට ආධාර ඉල්ලා ෆේස්බුක් පිටුවක් ද විවෘත කැර ඇත.

රෝහලේ වෛද්‍ය විශේෂඥ දොස්තර අනිල් රෙහෙමන්ඩ් කියනුයේ දරුවාගේ සංකීර්ණ ප්‍රශ්න නිසා දිගු කාලයක් රෝහලේ සිටීම නිසාත් බිල ඉහළ ගොස් ඇති බවයි.

එම රෝහලේ දවසක ගාස්තුව ඩිරාම් 3500කි (රුපියල් 127183.92  ).  ද්‍යෛවරයා පවසනුයේ දරුවාගේ සෞඛ්‍ය තත්ත්වය හොඳ අතට හැරී ඇති බවයි.

දරුවා ගෙදර ගෙන යෑමට කිසියම් වැඩපිළිවෙළක් ගෙවිය යුතු බව ද ඔහු කියයි..

Dear

My pregnant wife Imesha Madhavee is living with me under my sponsorship visa as a house wife since 2012. Her delivery date was 22/05/2015 and we have planned to go to Sri Lanka for the delivery on 28/02/2015. She was suffering from High fever and cough on last 07/02/2015 and she was first admitted to Aster Hospital Mankhool Dubai. Doctors failed to diagnose the illness correctly. Within 3 days her condition worsened and she was transferred to the ICU department there and then only I came to know that they don't have sufficient capacity to treat her. Being helpless myself and Doctors have contacted the hospitals in Dubai but all of them refused except Mediclinic Welcare hospital Al Garhoud. We have transferred my wife there in critical condition with ventilator support to Welcare Hospital and doctors have diagnosed that she is suffering from influenza A H1N1 pneumonia.

At that time my wife was pregnant for six and half months (25 weeks) and as a result of her critical condition after 9 days treatment doctors decided to deliver the baby by immediate cesarean operation to save my wife's and baby's lives. My baby was born as extremely premature condition (26 Weeks) and at this moment baby is undergoing NICU treatments referenced by Dr. Khalil Ur Rehman, (MD., F.A.A.P, C.N.S); Consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician 84 day’s treatment is estimated for the baby. My wife's condition improved a lot after the delivery. She was discharged from the hospital last 25/02/2015 and I have settled the outstanding amount by taking a loan.

However in order to process passport, visa, birth certificate etc for my daughter a document called birth notification is required. Hospital demanded to place a grantee cheque of 500,000 Dirham to release the birth notification which I have placed and our consulate officers have also visited and discussed with the hospital management regarding this because I don't have such a huge amount of money in my account.

My baby's health condition is stable at the moment. The baby is 36 weeks old now. Now the baby is fed from my wife's milk and we have started bottle feeding and breast feeding recently. But still she is supported by high flow oxygen support due to weak lungs. Since past three weeks we are waiting for her oxygen support to go down. Yesterday there was some progress to her condition and we hope our baby will come out of oxygen support within next two weeks.

At the moment the NICU bill of my daughter has exceeded 500,000 Dirham and the estimated cost for the total 84 days treatment is approximately 650,000 Dirham. I have only paid 45,000 Dirham as a deposit to the hospital against this huge bill.

Srilankan Community in Dubai has a small community called "SAHANA".

They came forward to help us in every aspect from the first day. They have forwarded our case to Srilankan Consulate General in Dubai, still helping, guiding and giving me courage to face this situation. Our consulate office helped me to process the documents for my baby and also informed our situation to foreign bureau. The case number is my passport number (N2727287). However still we didn't get any reply or help from the foreign bureau. My friends and colleagues are trying their very best to help me within their capacity. Because the bill is accumulating each day hospital admin keep calling me everyday reminding the due payments. My monthly salary is just 5025 Dirham and with this situation I am not able to pay such a huge cost by myself. With the current improvement my daughter might be able to go home by next two weeks. Kindly help us to pay the NICU Bill and to take our daughter home.
